I have heard about this restaurant from a lot of friends and finally I tried it at their flagship stall in Rawang. This is a simple and limited seating shop along Jalan Rawang which is quite inconspicous enough. I have heard about this restaurant from a lot of friends and finally I tried it at their flagship stall in Rawang. This is a simple and limited seating shop along Jalan Rawang which is quite inconspicous enough. There was nothing much in terms of decor that will indicate that this is a popular restaurant except for the huge crowds especially on weekends and holidays. The restaurant serves only one type of fish which is the Tilapia Fish and it is done in only one version; steamed with ginger and garlic. However, they have other dishes that you may order to go with rice. But since the owner recommends that everyone should have one fish to themselves and every table seemed to be doing just that, I decided to follow suit.

There really wasn't much I could critique about the steamed fish here. It is simply tasty, not just because the fish was fresh but also due to the mixture of soy sauce with ginger and garlic which really brings out the natural sweetness of the flesh. Normally river fishes has a mud taste to their flesh which is hard to get rid of but they somehow have a way to do away with that really well. The flesh is still soft and succulent, steamed just right, not over or under. Each fish is between RM15-RM20 and is definitely worth trying.
