Lan Je steamed tilapia is really famous for their steam fish. They encourage one person order one tilapia fish. When you walk into the place, you will see most people having their own fish all by themselves. This is to show that their steam fish is so good, you wouldn't want to share with others. When placing order, you can inform them to have less chili or more chili for the fish. The waiting time is also long because they only steam the fish when you order. The fish came out perfectly. No smelly fish taste, no mud taste. The meat was delicate and the sauce was simple soy sauce but full of flavours from the fish and garlic and chili taste. They also do a few types of simple dishes just add some variety. Here we have belacan fry kangkung and braised tofu. The other two dishes can be considered good too. Still, the star always goes to the fish.
